Paris, December 5th, 2024 - Leading consent and preference management provider Didomi announces support for Microsoft UET consent mode in its suite of data privacy solutions.
Launched in July 2023, Microsoft UET helps organizations track and analyze how users behave on their website after clicking on an ad. Microsoft UET consent mode enables advertisers to ensure compliance with GDPR in the European Economic Area, and the newly released integration within the Didomi Console aims to simplify the process even further:
“User consent continues to become the cornerstone of digital strategies for forward-thinking enterprises, and leading companies like Microsoft and Google are taking steps towards ensuring user privacy is respected within their ecosystem.
We’re delighted to offer this integration, further solidifying our role as a trusted partner in navigating the complexities of modern privacy regulations.”
- Jeffrey Wheeler, VP of Product at Didomi
Microsoft UET Consent Mode allows advertisers to tailor the behavior of UET tags based on users’ consent status, ensuring that data collection complies with GDPR and other privacy laws.
Leveraging this integration through Didomi simplifies the setup process with easy configuration directly in the UI, enabling automatic consent transmission to Microsoft consent mode and real-time updates for user consent changes.
Advertisers are able to avoid a complex implementation process and gain peace of mind in their compliance while maintaining conversion tracking.
“For advertisers targeting end users in particular markets where consent may enforced, Universal Event Tracking (UET) consent mode is now available to all advertisers. This enhances the privacy capabilities for UET and gives you control over whether first and third-party cookies are stored. ”
