Summary

It is a pleasure to count Hachette Livre among Didomi's clients for 3 years now. We had the opportunity to talk about our long-standing collaboration with Anaïs Prost-Coletta, in charge of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) at Hachette Livre

She shared the reasons why Hachette Livre chose to implement a Didomi Consent Management Platform (CMP), and discussed how we can continue to work together in the future.

We are delighted to reveal this video, an insight into the collaboration between the publishing house and Didomi. Watch the video below, or keep reading for a summary of Anaïs' interview.

Summary:

Can you tell us a bit about Hachette Livre?

Founded in 1826, Hachette Livre is the leading publishing group in France, second in Spain and third worldwide. Hachette offers a wide range of books, with two target markets: one for the general market, and one for educational purposes.

Hachette Livre brings together many publishing houses that publish essays, novels, school textbooks, travel guides, practical books, YA fiction, dictionaries and comic books.

The Group operates in the French, English and Spanish-speaking markets and also has interests in Russia and the Arab world, which gives it an international reputation.

Why did you choose Didomi?

The Hachette Livre Group implemented its Customer Data Platform (CDP) in 2018. We had to equip several very different websites, particularly in terms of audience. In order to ensure the best data collection, while respecting legal rules and being transparent, we chose Didomi's consent solution.

We were attracted to Didomi as a fast-growing company operating both in France and in other international markets.

How does the Didomi X Hachette Livre collaboration work?

When the user arrives on our website, the Didomi banner appears. The consent notice complies complies with the CNIL recommendations (French Data Protection Authority), as it allows the user to make a choice regarding the collection and use of trackers, cookies and other personal data.

The Hachette.fr banner appears in pop-in format. It incorporates aspects of Hachette's branding thanks to the additional the logo and the colour of the buttons and links.

What are the advantages of the Didomi solution?

We use the Didomi solution on a daily basis. For us, the main advantage is being able to use the dashboard and check the consent rate according to the changes we make on the banner. Moreover, it is fantastic to be able to rely our Didomi Customer Success Manager & Customer Success team at any time for any questions.

Didomi follows legal requirements closely and, as this is a constantly evolving and changing ecosystem, Didomi is constantly adapting its solution.
