Didomi product updates: Winter 2024/2025
On the product side, our team has worked on various improvements and iterations over the winter. Some of the standout achievements include our work on U.S. compliance in our CMP, support for Microsoft consent mode, and our CMP recertification with Google.
CMP updates to facilitate U.S. privacy compliance
The U.S. data privacy regulatory patchwork continues to grow in size and complexity, and our CMP is evolving to accommodate the needs of American and global organizations.
Among the changes in our Didomi Console, you will notice:
- Broader multi-regulation coverage, expanding our coverage with nine new state regulations templates to support compliance in Texas, Florida, Oregon, Montana, Utah, New Hampshire, Delaware, Iowa, and New Jersey.
- Support for Global Privacy Platform (GPP) to simplify managing and maintaining compliance across states and regions (in beta for now).
- Improved analytics and insights with U.S.-specific analytics for more meaningful insights collection.
- New configuration options including a range of new customization options, multilingual support across all regulations, and flexible options for sensitive personal information (SPIs)
This major update ensures our clients are equipped to manage current regulations and prepared for possible future changes.

Support for Microsoft UET consent mode
Another notable achievement is the announcement of our support for Microsoft consent mode.
The Microsoft framework is mandatory for ad publishers using Microsoft’s Advertising Platform (MAP) in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the UK, who may otherwise risk the suspension of Universal Event Tracking (UET) features that may negatively impact their monetization and conversion tracking. We're happy to provide an integration with the framework, as explained by our VP of Product, Jeff Wheeler:
“User consent continues to become the cornerstone of digital strategies for forward-thinking enterprises, and leading companies like Microsoft and Google are taking steps towards ensuring user privacy is respected within their ecosystem.
We’re delighted to offer this integration, further solidifying our role as a trusted partner in navigating the complexities of modern privacy regulations.”
- Jeffrey Wheeler, VP of Product at Didomi

CMP recertification for Google requirements
The Didomi CMP has recently been recertified by Google as a certified CMP for web, mobile, and CTV intended for Google partners using the company’s publisher products (Google AdSense, Ad Manager, or AdMob) and serving personalized ads to users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland.
The certification focuses on compliance with the Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2, and certified CMPs are assessed by Google against certification criteria focused on that aspect.

- Mobile: Introduction of a web view for mobile for more customization.
- Performance: General performance improvements, in line with our continued efforts to reduce the impact of CMPs on INP and core web vitals.
